Workers Deserve More

May Day will be celebrated this year on Friday, May 1st, 2026. As members of the working class, we are taking action to demonstrate our power and remind the billionaires who actually holds the power. We refuse to carry on as usual, and call for a day of No Work, No School, and No Shopping.

In addition to those national efforts, KC DSA is proud to announce that we are joining forces with the Missouri Workers Center and a number of other community organizations for a full day of organizing, networking, and celebrating the power of the working class. Throughout the month of April, and on May Day itself, join the conversation, learn how we're building a better future, and find ways to stay engaged and involved even after May Day is over.

Check this page and our social media account (@kansascityDSA) for updates and information as the date approaches. You can also see a full list of May Day Coalition events happening across the metro by following THIS LINK.
